PRINTCode of Conduct Rules
- Be respectful to players, coaches, officials, scorekeepers, and opponents always.
- Refrain from shouting instructions to players or criticizing decisions during games; support players with positive, encouraging comments.
- Avoid arguing with umpires, coaches, or opponents. If a concern arises, address it calmly through the appropriate channel (e.g., speaking to a coach or league official after the game).
- Cheer positively for your team and show respect for the other team.
- Do not use profanity, racist or derogatory language, taunting, or harassment of any kind.
- Do not engage in or tolerate harassment, intimidation, or threats toward players, coaches, officials, or spectators.
Progressive Discipline Approach
· Verbal reminder to the team manager (including fans) for the first offense, reiterating the Code of Conduct. Managers are responsible for their fans behavior.
· If behavior persists, the team manager from that team will be ejected, including fan behavior.
· Coaches involved in repeated offenses may face suspension or removal from coaching duties, following league procedures.
Implementation for Each League
· Publish this Code of Conduct to players, families, and staff; require acknowledgment at the start of the season.
· Post visible signage at facilities with key conduct expectations.
· Establish a clear reporting process and designate points of contact (e.g., conduct liaison, league president, safety officer).
· Review and update the Code annually or after incidents to improve clarity and effectiveness.
· Each league will have a representative during each game to monitor and intervene when necessary
